User Interface design, 2021
Program used: Photoshop, Figma, Miro
A one-month project which I collaborated with three classmates. We want to make a news feed that emphasizes local communities, letting even the busiest people remain accurately informed and in touch with their world.
User Research
Target Demographic:
Newsfeeds for women, age 34-39
Typical problems of newsfeeds:
-
Inaccessible due to subscription fees
-
Not as much of an issue for older ppl, but they have a limited budget and need to pick which to subscribe to (bias-prone)
-
-
Not always catered to what they want/need (ie. out of the region, not specific to gender-based issues, etc)
-
Aggressive/hostile communities, especially for women
-
Professional/home lifestyles = less time
-
Unreliable sites, even if catered to interests
